During this internship, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside mentors and professionals who rank among the best in their fields. This program is a key pipeline for full-time opportunity and development programs at AVANGRID. As part of our intern program, you may be exposed to several areas, working on special projects as assigned.Here is a selected group of business areas that you may work and collaborate with: Our Data Science Data Analytics initiatives cover organizational needs that are vital to the company's strategy and operational success. As part of the program, you'll partake in key projects focused on data analysis, data mining/reporting, and continuous process improvement in capabilities for by envisioning and executing strategies that will influence the improvement of business's performance by enabling informed decisions. We expect all our interns to contribute and bring fresh perspectives to our global analytical practice as we evolve as a leader in the Energy industry. As part of AVANGRID Data Science, we don't look for the big picture in the sky, we look for critical thinkers who seek continuous improvement, understand operational efficiency, and organize, report, and analyze large amounts of data.The Opportunity Includes:

Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, Business and Technology, Data Science or a related degreePreferred GPA 3.2Moderate to advanced MS Excel (pivot tables), Database experience (Access, SQL, Tableau, or comparable) & exposure to data analytics toolsOne or more summers remaining prior to the completion of undergraduate or master's degreeLegally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for future sponsorshipAVANGRID's Energy Delivery Companies Include
