SUMMARY

Join our dynamic team supporting Government Financial & Resource Management on a critical central data repository system. You will play a key role in maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the system's performance while ensuring data integrity and security.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the central data repository system and its components.

Perform server management tasks including setup, configuration, and maintenance.

Conduct system upgrades and patches to ensure system stability and security.

Manage certificates, ciphers, and SSL configurations to maintain secure data transmission.

Utilize SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.

Investigate and analyze custom Java transformations within the system.

Deconstruct APIs and utilize Swagger pages to understand and integrate with system functionalities.

Monitor system logs for errors and performance issues; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Conduct day-to-day system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure system availability.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to address system issues and enhance system capabilities.

Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

TS/SCI with Polygraph

A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and fourteen (14) years of experience as an SE. Nineteen (19) years of SE experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments and command-line utilities.

Familiarity with data manipulation techniques and tools.

Experience in application monitoring and performance tuning.

Knowledge of server management principles and practices.

Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products

Must be able to work during core hours of 10:00am-2:00pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read and understand Java code for troubleshooting and customization purposes.

Experience in managing SSL certificates, ciphers, and security protocols.
