Work you'll doBackground:The government agency is modernizing and leveraging cloud technologies to improve the delivery of agency services while also enhancing its infrastructure capabilities. As part of the effort, the government agency's OCIO is establishing a combined cyber and network vendor supported services contract. The integrated team will provide one common approach to networking and security services. This requirement will be administered centrally to directly support ITOS and Cybersecurity Divisions.Description:Install new hardware and software making sure that all components (hardware and software) interface correctly with each other and the network - including new servers, backups, Microsoft Desktop/server operating system sets- to include base software and applications installed on servers such as antivirus, desktop/system monitoring tools, and SPIs etc.Design, implement, and maintain DHCP configurations.Support and operate systems within VMware and Azure cloud environments.The teamDeloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact. If you're seeking a career that increases cyber awareness, utilizes risk management programs, and develops strategies for cyber defense and response, then the Cyber SDR offering at Deloitte is for you.QualificationsRequired:5+ years' experience installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.Knowledge of core Infrastructure services and functions including virtualization (VMWare), DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc.Experience with scripting and automation tools as well as knowledge of Azure cloud key services.5+ years' experience administering Windows Server in an enterprise environment, working in and deploying services in Microsoft Azure and VMware environments.1+ years' experience producing technical documents and engineering diagrams.Bachelor's Degree Required.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Remote with up to 20% travel.Preferred:Strong written and verbal skills, team focused.
