DescriptionGeneral Information:Business Process Quality work focuses on developing, identifying, analyzing and improving existing general business processes (i.e., back-end processes not related to manufacturing) including: Applying process definition, improvement and design methodologies to identify, analyze and improve business processes to improve quality, reduce costs, increase efficiencies/productivity, increase customer satisfaction, etc. Developing documentation to support analysis and improvement including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, gap/problem analysis, etc. Planning implementing quality assurance and compliance processes. In some organizations may include supporting development of training and/or change management materials and activities to support new processes and procedures. Includes Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen practitioners working in a non-manufacturing environment. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
Your Responsibilities:Partners with cross-functional leadership teams to improve our continuous improvement culture focused on waste elimination throughout the extended value stream. Focus on driving our ‘learn and go-do’ approach using ITM tools, including 5S, Visual Management, Kaizen, Daily Management, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping and Leader Standard Work.Lead activities across the Marketing & Sales function to implement the ITM system and drive improved ITM Maturity Development process to advance the organization through the ITM phases of deployment.Lead and facilitate kaizen events for the organization and partner with the extended cross-functional organization on overall use of ITM tools to drive cost-out and productivity. Ensure effective sustainment of results and support problem solving (Root Cause Countermeasure) as needed to close gaps to targets, as well as driving Transactional Process Improvements.Build continuous improvement capability through training and implementation of ITM tools and methods. Be the expert on the ITM system, with focus on training and coaching others to build people and organization capabilities. Build a Coaching culture across the organization with focus on Employee Engagement and Accountability.
