Your expertise and contributions will directly impact the success and effectiveness of our product. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:Lead, design and build high-quality web applications by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.Raise the bar on engineering excellence by improving standard methodologies, producing best in class of code, documentation, testing, and monitoring.Collaborate with product and R&D engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions.Identifying and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks.Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our products.Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.What you’ll bring to the role4+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in a fast-paced environment.4+ years of experience as a web developer in a modern language.3+ years of experience with React or similar frameworks.Solid understanding of full web technology stack: RESTful services, client-side frameworks, data persistence technologies.Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!Experience with Snowflake or other data warehousing platforms.Experience with AWS cloud stack.What you can look forward to as a Full-Time Okta employee!Okta cultivates a dynamic work environment, providing the best tools, technology, and benefits to empower our employees to work productively in a setting that best and uniquely suits their needs.Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
