The OpportunityUnder the supervision of the Director of Technology and Director of Expanded Learning, the School Site Technician is the key technology specialist for the school(s). The School Site Technician (STC) identifies technology needs and communicates with Site Leadership and/or the Home Support Office (HSO). The STC is responsible for Tier 1 troubleshooting and on-site support for school site staff and students, including system updates, inventory and assignment of educational technology, system technology training and support to school site stakeholders as appropriate.ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsServe as the school liaison to the Home Support Office Technology department regarding instructional technology and technology integration

Perform Tier 1 on-site help desk support, access management, and technical troubleshooting for students and staff

Conduct scheduled monthly school(s) site technology updates and audits for student and staff devices.

Responsible for deploying new technologies and revitalizing current systems

Manage technology needs for all assessments (diagnostic, interim, state testing, etc.)

Support site inventory provisioning, management, tracking, and disposal

Reimage machines as needed

Serve as a logistical liaison for outside vendors

Data entry into systems to help produce reports of technology programs

Prepare and submit reports to site administration and HSO as requested

Travel to multiple locations as needed in support of the role or on behalf of the school

Deliver and pickup equipment from other sites or HSO as needed

Attend training and participate in professional development as requested

Replace parts on broken computers

Place service calls and ship equipment for external repair services

Help onboard new staff in collaboration with HSO

Other duties as assigned
