Seeking an EXPERIENCED Commercial Construction Project Engineer who has worked on STRIP projects. Looking for an experienced, energetic, goal-oriented self-starter with professional communication skills. As part of the project team, the Project Engineer is expected to work independently or with minimal guidance. They provide technical and managerial support for construction projects, including but not limited to: safety, quality, and document control, and assist operations staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Project Engineers must be extremely reliable, organized, able to read drawing sets, have strong attention to detail, and meet deadlines. They are efficient and effective communicators among all project stakeholders.Our Project Engineers are either OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified and help spearhead project safety by demonstrating leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on their projects. They apply the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance with HS&E standards, applicable OH&S Acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project.Experience must include having responsibilities including but not limited to:Support Project Managers with the development and tracking of the overall project scope, budget, and timeline to ensure projects are safely delivered on time and under budget.Assist field superintendents and project managers with the creation and maintenance of the project schedule, including periodic updates.Create and maintain Procurement Logs based on project schedule.Support the (sub)contract management/procurement process through contract issuance, RFP response, awarding work, and procurement of materials.Maintain and distribute documents, including:

Contract LogDrawingsRFIsSubmittalsMeeting MinutesWeekly Owner ReportsTransmittal of project correspondenceTracking logs (RFI, submittal, drawings, procurement)Close Out, Warranties, and As-Builts

Communicate effectively during daily interactions with Field Superintendents to interpret project needs and requirements.Track, cost code, and process subcontractor Time and Material (T&M) tickets.Assist the project manager with the change order management process by securing pricing from the vendor/subcontractor and help maintain timely PCO Logs.Perform Punch List walk-throughs with PM and Superintendent and distribute to the team, including:

Pre-Punch ListOwner/Architect/Designer Punch ListFinal Punch Walk
