SQL Database Administrator - Minneapolis, MNInformation Technology Minneapolis, Minnesota Contract Mar 15, 2024VXForward has a great opportunity for a SQL Database Administrator - Minneapolis, MN with one of our clients.Roles and Responsibilities:Support SQL server applicationsSupporting SQL Server components, including SSIS and SSRSMaintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processesPerforming SQL backups and Disaster RecoveryPerforming database migrations & upgradesWorking with Azure SQL technologiesDocumenting work and processesProvide mentorship to other DBAs on the teamProvide knowledge transferHighly Desired Skills:Experience with SQL server applications and supporting components, including SSIS and SSRS.Experience maintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes.Experience in mentoring IT staff and database design.Experience in assessing and introducing new technologies to improve operation of database infrastructure.Experience as a lead worker in a team of subject matter experts of varying capacities.Experience in Microsoft Azure SQL technologies.Experience with Always On and other High Availability SQL technologies.
