Scrum Master/Project Manager

DescriptionScrum Master Responsibilities:Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Ensure the team follows agile practices and principles.Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment.Coach and mentor team members on agile methodologies.Collaborate with product owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.Support the Product Owner and Scrum team members with feature and user story development that outline the requirements and acceptance criteria.Monitor the team’s progress and performance, using metrics such as burndown charts, and report to stakeholders as needed.Project Management Responsibilities:Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.Track and report on project progress, performance, and deliverables.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Manage stakeholder expectations and communication.RequirementsRequired Skills:BA/BS or equivalent years of experience working in a related position.Active Secret ClearanceCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combined Scrum Master and project management role.Strong understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.Proven experience in managing large-scale projects.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing project demands.
