Description
As a
Traffic Engineer,
your primary focus will pertain to DOT and municipal roadway improvement projects.
Your engineering assignments may include signal and intelligent transportation systems design, Advanced Traffic Management System operations, Active Arterial Management, signal retiming studies, safety studies, signing, pavement marking, work zone traffic control, operational analyses for isolated intersections, complex arterial networks, and freeways.Your Primary Responsibilities will includeServe as a Project Engineer and help with design of Signing and Pavement Markings, Signalization and Lighting Plans.
Perform Traffic Signal Analysis in Synchro software.
Help with crash analysis as part of the marketing effort.
What you'll needBachelor's degree in Engineering
E.I Registration (preferred) or ability to obtain
IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II (preferred)
1 - 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of MicroStation (required) and Synchro (preferred)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
