Support a leading investment bank to design and implement a target technology infrastructure, eliminate manual processes and deliver an integrated workflow for its multi-year global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program.While working as part of a team,
Data Architect
will be responsible for:Defining and executing on approaches to analyze the client's current state Data landscape, perform fit-gap analyses, and develop future state designs for end-to-end Data Architecture (Data-sources, Ingestion, Storage, Processing, Computing, Semantic layer, and Users/Consumers), based on industry leading practices and prior project experience.Developing recommendations for Data Governance (Data Lineage, metadata management, Data Cataloging, Data Quality, Data Security, Reporting & Analytics, MDM).Developing tooling recommendations for including Cloud native, and industry-leading products.Preparing for and facilitating meetings with client business stakeholders to progress data architecture designs.Required Qualifications:
Strong data program experience (data management, data governance, data integration, etc.).Strong understanding of front-to-back bank business processes and data architecture (from the source of origination to various processing layers to downstream distribution).Understanding of investment banking product lifecycle (Securities & trading products, loans/commitments) would be an advantage.Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) functions, processes, tech platforms and data.Strong core consulting skills, including:Ability to manage and drive senior stakeholder meetings across business, ops/IT groups (preparing meeting materials, lead facilitation, follow-through technical solution design decisions).Ability to structure and drive analysis and provide POV on product flows, master/reference data, and/or cash data sources to inform the delivery of data to data warehouses/data provisioning points (central repository).Strong PowerPoint skills as role requires help in developing materials for facilitating meetings and authoring deliverables.
