Senior Platform EngineerLocation: Richardson, TXClearance Required: Top Secret/SCI with Counter Intelligence PolygraphRate: $65 to $90 an hour depending on benefits selectionHave you worked on streamlining processes and accelerating release cycles? Would you want to work with a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware? We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for an enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone. This is a product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.Required Qualifications:* Active Top Secret/SCI / CI Poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance* Bachelor Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics* Over 5+ years of related work experience* Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.* Custom off the Shelf product installation, configuration, and integration* Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, RancherDesired Qualifications:* Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab)* AWS or Azure* Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation* Networking Concepts and architectures* Scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore)* Compute, networks, storage, and virtualization* DevSecOps framework - Design, Test, and Implementation* Scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Bash, Perl, Ruby, C++)* Current DoD 8570 certification (CompTIA Security +, CCNA) or ability to obtain within 90 daysImpact:* Support transitioning a system with variable requirements* Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises cloud computing environments* Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management* Collaborate with teams to design and implement development and mission solutions* Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management* Red Hat Linux (v7+, 8+ preferred), Rancher* Experience troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based OS.Mary Maves
