Providing essential services to field staff and volunteers. Offering this support frees field staff for direct ministry with kids, optimizes financial contributions, and ensures careful stewardship of the mission's assets (both tangible and intangible).We have lots of opportunities at Mission Services. Integration Development
Design, develop, and deploy integration processes using the Boomi Integration Platform (or equivalent), including cloud and on-premises applications.Create and maintain integration process documentation.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and specifications. Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.Implement data mapping, transformation, and orchestration.Monitor integration processes and ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing support and maintenance for integrations.Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing for all integration processes.Provide training and support to other team members on the Boomi platform.Database Developer
Backup data and databases.Restore and/or recover data as required.Optimize databases for optimal performance including implement indexing and other tuning techniques.Manage views, stored procedures, functions, and other database structures.Monitor and maintain database access and security and database software.Be able to identify, respond, and fix data related issues.Proficient with database queries. Advanced SQL techniques.Develop database documentation as needed.Working Conditions

Minimum of a college degree in a computer-related field desired (experience may be considered in lieu of education for a proven staff member).Experience Required For The Job
Three years' experience in the computer field, including hands-on as a Database Developer.Must maintain current technical knowledge through courses and self-study, and pursue what certifications are available that apply to the technical aspect of the position.Ability to lead medium to large sized technology projects.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others within and across the organization.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.Some travel involved.Excellent attention to detail.Ethically handling private data, including financial and/or healthcare data for certain companies.Good multitasking abilities.Work with manager to determine time estimates and production schedules for approved projects.Proactively communicate project status and or issues to management.Work under minimal supervision.Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Keep up-to-date with the latest Boomi features and best practices, applying them to improve integration processes.Job Specific Working Conditions

Reporting to the Director of Data Architecture and Integrations, you will be responsible for maintaining Young Life’s database systems while leading the development of new data integrations to support our mission.The role focuses heavily on designing and managing integration workflows in collaboration with the Data Integration Lead. You will also handle traditional DBA duties, ensuring system reliability and performance.
