Duties:

Lead the development of language models using deep learning architecture for Natural Language Processing (NLP) Applications around search optimization and recommendation systems. Identify strategic and operational challenges that can be solved through data, and apply deep reinforcement learning techniques to solve financial problems around payment optimization and recommendation. Pose identified problems in formats conducive for quantitative modelling. Apply predictive and descriptive models to address quantified business problems, including linear and non-linear time series techniques such as ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, GARCH, and LSTM for time series prediction. Productionize state-less low latency forecasting engines for real time predictions. Work on highly confidential data assets dealing with intermittent time series data. Transform unstructured bank data into high quality data assets to enable tactical and strategic product solutions. Access and query many different databases and data sources to create data sets required for predictive and descriptive analytics. Work with data engineers to address scalability issues, while deploying data science applications in production. Combine business understanding with theoretical knowledge to augment available data by performing feature engineering. Identify evaluation metrics to measure performance of models.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Operations Research, Economics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Applied AI ML Lead/Associate, Risk Management Manager, Associate – Projects, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Doctorate degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Operations Research, Economics, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Applied AI ML Lead/Associate, Risk Management Manager, Associate Projects, or related occupation.Skills Required:

Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Windows; Python; Shell Scripting; SQL; AWS Cloud Services; Hadoop; Hive; Tableau; Unit Testing; Pyspark; R; Tensorflow; Jupyter Lab; time series Analysis using ARIMA; RNN; LSTM; Statistical Modeling techniques including A/B Testing and Logistic Regression; Decision Trees; Random Forest; Boosted Tree Algorithms; Time Series Analysis; Natural Language Processing; Bayesian Optimization; dimensionality reduction including PCA and SVD; simulation; and reinforcement learning.Job Location:
