£30-35k Negotiable (DOE), Car Plus Excellent Benefits PackageThe Role:Working within a Framework JV made up of seven partner companies and their extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. The framework is heading into its latest Asset Management Period, known as AMP7 which will involve the delivery of a £1.8bn programme of work over the next five years.Undertaking circa 800 projects across the region requires teams to collaborate and work towards common objectives to deliver the best service possible to clients. To ensure projects are successfully delivered from asset planning to asset operation, our Client is looking for a number of enthusiastic Project Delivery Engineers who will add value to our Client’s ways of working immediately, and who also have the desire to develop and grow within an industry-leading alliance.You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and safely whilst embedding sustainability principles. Furthermore, you’ll drive efficiency and outperformance whilst not compromising on governance and delivery processes.Our Client sees Delivery Engineers as vital cogs in their project delivery capabilities and offer a full training programme and mentoring to enable successful candidates to develop into Project Delivery Managers.Responsibilities:Oversee and ensure projects are on track in terms of time and budget whilst proactively managing risks and opportunities.Attend site to gather information and translate this into value-added reports and presentations which drive the successful meeting of relevant project delivery milestones.Champion sustainability principles in design and construction specifically around the minimisation of energy use, carbon emissions, waste materials reduction and the supply chain.Coordinate and manage contract requirements relating to design solutions, construction and commissioning and ensure these always meet and exceed Health & Safety standards and legislation.Provide a proactive and trusted resource to the Project Delivery Manager to support effective and efficient close out of all projects to meet the clients’ requirements and enable final accounts completion.Strive to continuously improve project delivery by closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges and implement solutions.Experience:Qualified in an engineering discipline such as mechanical, electrical, process or civil.Experience of delivering projects or coordinating complex tasks and activities to support planned outcomes.A background in construction or process industries would be advantageous together with an ambition to develop a career in this sector.Able to travel across the Anglian Water region as required to support projects.Able to establish and sustain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and work in a collaborative fashion.Confident, proactive and willing to take accountability to drive performance.IT literate and open to new technology, you’ll demonstrate resilience and maintain energy and focus when under pressure.Job Information
