YesJob Description:GDIT is the Prime contractor for the Flight School Training Support Services (FSTSS) program, which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, Alabama, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provide flight simulator training.GDIT has an immediate opening for a Training Support Package (TSP) Developer supporting the Flight School Program. As a TSP Developer, you will be working on the development of multi-echelon orders and training products for tactical deployment of Army aviation assets.Responsibilities:
Assist customers in the development and execution of Army Aviation training scenarios to meet training objectives.Demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Conduct formal briefings for senior army officers and other personnel.Perform Intelligence Preparation of Battlefield (IPB) and military orders production process.Develop and maintain doctrinal orders and products that adhere to the Army's Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) to support unclassified simulation exercises.Work in a variety of simulation environments.Use computer simulation technologies to create and manage a virtual operational environment for military mission training.Use U.S. Army Military experience to guide realistic training, roleplay various military entities, ground forces, Opposing Forces, etc.Coordinate with course instructors on synchronizing events in missions, injecting mission changes, recording key events for After Action Review (AAR).What You'll Need to Succeed:
Education: Bachelor's degreeRequired Experience: 6 years of military related experience.Required Skills and Abilities:
Experience on Battalion Staff or Higher.Familiarization with Army DOTD publications and directives.Knowledge of doctrinal, tactical, technical, and conceptual aspects of aviation tactics.Working knowledge of development of multi-echelon military orders and associated annexes.Military experience, including Command Post (CP) experience.Working knowledge of Command Post Systems (CPOF/CPCE).Ability to read/comprehend written and verbal mission expectations and guide junior personnel.Review and edit all doctrinal and technical documents for clarity and correctness.Experience in training development and tactical deployment of aviation.Knowledge of current Army air frames and general capabilities.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills to develop training programs and procedures.Good presentation skills, both in person and in distance learning.Good interpersonal skills to facilitate effective working relationships with customers and team members.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Maneuver, Logistics, UAS, or Air Defense military background.Graduate of Captain's Career Course or higher.Ability to work in a variety of simulation environments including but not limited to OneSAF.Combat experience or combination of National Training Center (NTC) or Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) deployments.Bachelor's degree or combination of education and technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.
