We’re seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure and Support Manager to oversee our cloud-based and on-premises network and hardware infrastructure, manage the desktop support team, and guide our organization’s transition to a fully cloud-based environment. In this role, you’ll work directly with the Chief Technology Officer, aligning IT resources with business objectives and ensuring efficient, secure, and user-friendly operations across our business systems. Key Responsibilities:

Cloud and On-Premises Infrastructure Management:

Oversee Azure and AWS environments, optimizing infrastructure for performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity and access management, ensuring secure, streamlined access across cloud and on-premises systems.

Security and Compliance:

Configure and monitor network security protocols using tools like Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Azure Security Center.

Conduct security and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory standards.

Disaster Recovery Planning and Backup Management:

Support disaster recovery planning and testing, leveraging Azure Site Recovery and Backup for continuity and minimal downtime.

Document and update recovery procedures, collaborating with teams to continuously improve resilience.

IT Support Management and System Optimization:

Lead and mentor the desktop support team, delivering responsive, high-quality support and minimizing service interruptions.

Collaborate with departments to ensure IT systems meet operational needs, aligning technology with business goals and optimizing user workflows.

Software Platform Support and Deployment Management:

Support and manage various software platforms across the company, ensuring effective functionality and integration across departments.

Assist in planning and coordinating future software deployments and upgrades, ensuring they enhance business functions and user experience.

Vendor and Resource Coordination:

Coordinate with third-party vendors for outsourced system support, ensuring SLA compliance and cost-effective partnerships.

Evaluate vendor performance and support long-term resource planning to align with IT and business goals.

Key Deliverables - First Year:

Complete the migration of on-premises Active Directory to Azure AD and Azure AD DS, achieving a fully cloud-based domain environment.

Establish a disaster recovery plan with quarterly testing, ensuring Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) meet organizational standards.

Optimize cloud costs to achieve a cost reduction of at least 10%.

Document and standardize IT procedures, including compliance and security protocols, to support audit-readiness and streamline onboarding processes.

Support at least one major software platform deployment or upgrade, ensuring minimal disruption to business functions and alignment with user requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role is a hands-on IT professional with experience in managing cloud infrastructure, supporting network security, and overseeing IT support teams. You have a collaborative approach, a proactive attitude, and the ability to guide IT resources to support company objectives and deliver results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2-4 years of experience in IT infrastructure or support roles, with expertise in Azure and AWS environments.

Knowledge of Azure AD and network security principles.

Proven experience in managing or mentoring IT support teams.

Familiarity with supporting software platform functionality and deployment.

Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-oriented approach to service delivery.
