You would join our current IT team which includes two PHP developers, a X++ developer, and two sys admins.Responsibilities:Lead the development of our web-based applications (Python/Django) and their mobile apps.Maintain the application’s AWS back-end to ensure maximum availability, security, and performance.Participate in the development of other internal business process applications.Assist in product demonstrations and user support.When doing a great job, the Python/Django Developer:Develops an understanding of our businesses and how various departments work together.Takes total ownership of the application, including development budget and timeline.Prioritizes activities that impact profit effectively.Exhibits urgency around active customer requests or issues in production.Follows best practices for programming and creates documented code bases.Can be trusted with sensitive company information.Asks questions about features and priorities.Tests work against how programs function with upstream/downstream systems.Requirements:Experience owning a product through inception to launch and maintenance.Proficiency in Python with Django.Experience with AWS and Database/SQL.Preferred: VCS/Git and mobile app development.Salary:
