SENIOR FRONT END ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine.Our client is a software company headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with offices in California, Illinois, and Switzerland. They develop and maintain the leading catalog data syndication platform for in-store kiosks and tablets, enabling retailers to display an extended aisle of products, no matter the size of their showroom. Powerful integrations allow retailers to directly connect their POS software, eCommerce websites, and their sales & marketing automation platforms.The client supports thousands of retailers and brands around the globe seven days a week. The client improves the commerce experience by connecting brands, retailers, and consumers through beautiful, intelligent software.Requirements:7+ years of experience in a related technology role.Understanding cloud design in global infrastructure, distributed systems, security, and load balancing.Experience in working with RESTful web services.Extensive knowledge of developing applications in a single page (SPAs).Knowledge of Mongo DB.Expertise in document object model and DOM Functions.Experience writing unit tests and testing tools like Jasmine or Protractor.Competence in version control and deployment systems like Git, Bitbucket, and Bitbucket pipeline.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on delivering high-quality documents.BS Degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems.Nice to have:Experience with Node.js.Experience with AWS Lambda.Responsibilities:

Participate in development planning and prioritization of work for the Scrum team.Collaborate in the development and testing of features of our roadmap to enhance the cloud platform.Contribute to software design approaches and common UX patterns within the team.Collaborate with back-end developers and UI/UX experts to ensure that the definition of done is fully satisfied.Drive performance tuning and contribute to unit and integration testing.Maintain brand consistency throughout the design.Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards within the team.Compose detailed design specifications.Contribute to 3D concepts, implementation, technologies, and fast prototyping.Assist with requests and respond to feedback.Actively participate in retrospectives to improve Agile/Scrum practices.Contribute to the WCAG 2.0 AA level.Remain aware of evolving needs and opportunities, showing flexibility in doing whatever is appropriate to support the company’s success.Pursue educational opportunities to maintain advanced and up-to-date knowledge in the field.Performs all related duties as required and assigned, understanding that the items in this description are not all-inclusive.We offer
