Integrated Unified Communications Engineer, Senior-(CIS00032E) Your Impact:
In support of a DISA prototyping effort, the Intel and Cyber Division is assembling a team to support a program that provides critical network capabilities to the Department of Defense. Amentum is committed to recruiting and retaining this team for prototype development, test, and demonstration, as well as making this team available longer term for integration, deployment and sustainment as needed.Candidates interested in joining the team must be critical thinkers, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work independently or as a member of a team in a dynamic environment that supports a critical and rewarding mission. ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of the Integrated Unified Communications Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for providing technical expertise in Unified Communications (UC) and collaboration technologies.Work closely with other team members to design, implement, and optimize UC solutions.Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security specialists, and system architects.Assessing client needs, recommending architecture improvements, and ensuring seamless communication across domains.Specialize in UC technologies such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Webex.Supervises the UC Engineers in O&M, Innovation, and special projects across the program and provides guidance on uniquely challenging issues in UC .Assists in the day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain UC systems.Work together to deliver reliable and efficient communication services.Assists and advises the UCEs, network engineers, and cyber security experts on voice and video communications solutions.Advises on projects related to UC, video conferencing, instant messaging, and presence.Ensures that communication tools are integrated seamlessly and meet security requirements.Expert in Unified communications, Collaboration design, Edge services, Endpoints and user management, Configuration, Troubleshooting, and IntegrationFocus on designing and optimizing network infrastructure across different security domains.Address challenges related to data flow, security policies, and interoperability.Cross-domain network architects work closely with UCEs to align UC solutions with overall network architecture.Here's What You'll Need:
