Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled
.NET Developer with Data Analytics Experience
who has a proven track record of working on
State of California projects . In this role, you will develop and maintain .NET applications while working closely with data analytics tools and processes to drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working on State of California projects and will be comfortable integrating data analytics capabilities into .NET applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and services using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework).
Data Analytics Integration:
Work with data analytics platforms and tools to integrate data analytics and reporting capabilities into .NET applications, providing actionable insights for business users.
Data Processing:
Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to pull data from various sources for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Database Management:
Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases to support data analytics needs.
Reporting & Visualization:
Create and manage data visualizations and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar, integrated with .NET applications to display insights effectively.
Data Analysis:
Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, analyze trends, and implement analytics features within .NET applications.
API Development:
Develop APIs for data retrieval and integration with front-end and external data systems to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Cloud Integration:
Leverage cloud platforms like Azure or AWS to deploy scalable data analytics and .NET solutions.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize the performance of applications and data analytics processes, ensuring efficient data retrieval and analysis.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to define data requirements, document data flows, and maintain clear documentation of analytics and code.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer with strong exposure to data analytics.
Proficiency in .NET:
Hands-on experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, C#, and related technologies.
Data Analytics Tools:
Experience working with data analytics platforms and tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) and integrating them into web applications.
Database Expertise:
Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and data models.
ETL Experience:
Proficient in building and managing ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation.
API & Microservices:
Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs, especially related to data analytics and reporting.
Cloud Platforms:
Familiarity with cloud services (Azure Data Analytics, AWS) for deploying and scaling data analytics solutions.
Data Analysis Skills:
Understanding of data analysis techniques, data modeling, and ability to derive insights from datasets.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize performance.
Agile Development:
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced analytics tools such as R, Python, or MATLAB.
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics.
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
