Anglicotech (AT) is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer aligned to Systems Integration. We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team with a focus on systems integration in the maritime domain. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, integrating, and testing complex maritime systems to ensure optimal performance, functionality, and reliability. The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies to streamline the integration of various subsystems, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to industry standards in the maritime sector.Responsibilities:Systems Integration: Lead and contribute to the integration of maritime systems, both hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and interoperability between subsystems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and verify integrated solutions.Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate system requirements. Ensure that system requirements are clearly defined, documented, and traceable throughout the development lifecycle.Interface Management: Define and manage interfaces between different subsystems, ensuring proper communication, data exchange, and compatibility.Testing and Verification: Develop and execute test plans to verify system integration and performance. Identify and address any issues or discrepancies during the testing phase.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to system integration, working closely with relevant engineering teams to implement effective solutions.Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system models, system architecture diagrams, interface control documents, and integration procedures.Compliance and Standards: Ensure that the integrated maritime systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.Collaboration: Collaborate with various engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, software engineers, naval architects, and project managers, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality solutions.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements in the maritime domain and systems integration. Continuously seek ways to improve integration processes and methodologies.Requirements:Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on systems integration in the maritime domain.Familiarity with maritime systems and technologies, such as navigation systems, integrated bridge systems, communication systems, radar, and other relevant equipment.Solid understanding of systems engineering principles, life cycle processes, requirements management, and configuration management.Experience with model-based systems engineering, system modeling, SysML, and simulation tools is a plus (e.g., Enterprise Architect, CATIA Magic, Capella or similar).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.Understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to maritime systems integration (e.g., IEC 60945, IEC 62388, MIL-STD-167-1).Ability to obtain any necessary security clearances for working on classified maritime projects (if applicable).Education and Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
