Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for alignment to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific guidance to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.Agile development and delivery of softwareMonolithic Application Support and MaintenanceMicroservices Architecture migrationUser Interface and User Experience with enhanced workflowsDevSecOps and Automation of CI/CD pipelineHelp Desk and 24X7 system call-in and on-call support/maintenanceThis Software Engineer will be responsible for Load/Chaos tests, thread test, What if Tests, and Actual External Interfaces.Basic Qualifications:Current DoD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph is required.Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.Java 11+AWS Service (i.e. Lambda’s, Step functions, S3, etc.)Document-based stores (i.e. MongoDB, OpenSearch, etc.)Understands design concepts and pros/cons of storing data in document formatsMaven/GitKey-Value stores: (Redis, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, etc)Desired Skills:PythonRESTful Service developmentSecurity Clearance Statement:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
