Your Role on Our TeamAs IT Sr Solution Architect – (Demand Planning), you will be part of the group that supports our Order Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sourcing organizations in delivering large-scale data and ERP transformation initiatives. You will have the right mix of technical acumen, business analysis, and project management skills to successfully deliver in Milwaukee Tool's fast-paced environment.

As an IT Sr Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting solutions within our catalog of Supply Chain Planning Solutions (Our primary ERP is Oracle SCP). Your expertise will help us provide production support to our Enterprise-Wide Oracle Cloud ERP solution as well as drive new processes and solutions to meet our aggressive growth plans.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand Supply Chain requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Work with Platform Team to design and configure Oracle SCP modules to support demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and analytics.

Provide expert-level support for Oracle Cloud SCP modules and their integrations across our solution space ensuring up-time and optimal system performance.

Build out the future backlog in the IT Supply Chain Planning workspace and work with the appropriate Product or Platform owners.

Implement data integration strategies to ensure seamless flow of information across systems.

Drive best in class supply chain processes and data quality.

Work with Data Architects and Engineers within the IT department as well as Data Scientists in the Supply Chain Business Space.

Drive best technical practices for the existing Supply Chain Planning integration solution.

Ensure compliance with security frameworks and best practices.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Applications, specifically Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning modules.

Strong knowledge of data structures within Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning.

Experience with data flow between Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning and other systems.

Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Supply Chain Planning module.

Document system configurations, processes, and best practices.

Diagnose and resolve supply chain planning-related issues.

Proficiency in analyzing large data sets, forecasting, and demand planning.

Experience with tools like PowerBI for data visualization and analytics.

Utilize SQL skills to retrieve and analyze data from Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules.

Understanding of data modeling techniques, ETL processes, and data integration methodologies.

Willingness to share knowledge and mentor team members.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field with IT Solution Experience.

At least 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related areas.

Experience in supporting Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning module or equivalent Cloud ERP.

Certifications:

Oracle Cloud certifications related to Supply Chain Planning modules are a plus.

Other Tools:

Ability to think logically and critically about complex problems.

Success in leading multiple small to medium projects in various SDLCs.

Experience with product and technical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to gather complex business requirements, process flows, and use-case scenarios.

Experience with key technologies such as ERP, CRM or other customer management technologies.

Skilled in communicating across functional audiences.
