A SDET at Podium is about much more than protection from bugs; we provide performance, scaling, and reliability information to our Product, Development, and SRE teams. All the work we do is automation-based, no manual testing required!What you will be doing:
Working daily with core technologies: Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Java, Maven, Junit, Python, Pytest, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, GitLab CI/CD, & AWSAttend daily stand up and work through sprint assignmentsHelp define technical vision for a fast evolving organizationSet a high bar for availability, scalability, and securityParticipate in an on-call rotationWhat you should have:
3+ years professional experience developing and testing softwareRelevant experience in a QA role + experience in software QA automationExperience in one or more Test Automation Frameworks – Junit, PytestDemonstrated ability to own, design, lead and implement test strategies for complex applicationsExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs and product strategyKnowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operationsBENEFITS
