OverviewThe Bancorp’s Internship program is designed to provide students with a meaningful and challenging hands-on learning experience as well as an inside look into a career in the financial services industry. Interns are immersed into our culture and will work on actual projects within their business line or control function that will expand their knowledge and complement their education with real-world job experience.The Instructional Developer Intern will play a key role in designing and developing innovative, high-quality e-learning solutions tailored to the organization’s training needs. This position involves collaborating with a senior Learning Experience Designer to create engaging instructional content that enhances learner retention and performance. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in instructional design methodologies, e-learning tools—particularly Articulate 360—and a strong understanding of adult learning principles. The Instructional Developer Intern will ensure that all training materials are aligned with organizational goals, accessible to all learners, and compliant with relevant standards.Responsibilities

Essential FunctionsDesigns and develops engaging and interactive e-learning courses, assessments, and instructional materials using development tools like Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, etc.), PowerPoint, and Canva.Works closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content and translates it into effective learning experiences.Develops learning modules that adhere to instructional design best practices and adult learning principles.Utilizes multimedia elements (videos, animations, simulations) to enhance the learner experience.Maintains project documentation and ensures all deadlines are met.Conducts quality assurance reviews on developed courses to ensure consistency, functionality, and learner engagement.Qualifications

Preferred QualificationsWorking toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) and familiarity with other e-learning tools.Understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and adult learning theory.Experience in creating multimedia content, including video, audio, and graphics.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality learning experiences.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Program Eligibility

Eligible to work for any employer in the United States for the full duration of the internship. The Bancorp will not assist in applying for visas or altering the visa status of applications.Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate college degree program at the rising junior level, junior or senior level standing, enrolled in a master’s program or recently graduated within the past six months.Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, this will be confirmed by the recruiter.Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree directly related to the department for which the internship program is listed.Must be available for full-time internship.May not be related to any employee of The Bancorp.Background & EEO StatementThis job will be open and accepting applications for a minimum of five days from the date it was posted.Working at The Bancorp Bank, N.A. and Benefits Information:
