2025 Entry Level - Information Technology - Business Systems AnalystDescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Business Systems Analysts are responsible for the development and management of business, organizational, and/or operational requirements as well as overseeing the design, development, and launching of business systems in support of core organization functions and business processes. The business analyst elicits, analyzes, validates, and documents business requirements. The business analyst helps the project team identify the solution that meets the defined requirements. Solutions often include a systems development component but may also consist of process improvement or organizational change. They will also assist with system issues by generating and compiling reports based on user feedback and providing probable causes and possible solutions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in the gathering of business needs for medium complexity projects.Define, organize, and schedule required management activities within the scope of an overall project plan to be executed on time and on budget.Collaborate with both the business and IT technical staff in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.Participate in business process re-engineering. Understand business process and data flow within applications for business areas supported.Develop test scripts, test plans and scenarios then test the solution against business and technology requirements.Plan assigned activities, providing input to an IT Manager in producing detailed project plans and cost analysis.Report on project progress by communicating project status to inform an IT Manager of actual achievement.Promote departmental standards and procedures by complying with published standards and procedures to ensure the quality of our information systems.Provide presentations by preparing clear and well-organized material with the appropriate level of detail.Comply with applicable corporate and company policies, including Access Control and Change Management.QualificationsEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree required in Information Technology or related field.Relative experience preferred.Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role.QUALIFICATIONS:IT experience specifically in business process analysis and design.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Possesses good organizational and time management skills.Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws.
