We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.
As a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.Work with us to use cloud platform technology for good.

The world can’t wait.You Have:5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments5+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness2+ years of experience in building and deploying cloud-native applications with tech stack, including React, Go, Docker, or KubernetesExperience in breaking down barriers between DevOps and Development teams, aligning various and unaligned goals with objectives as assignedExperience in the automation of each part of and of entire processes, including CI/CD cycles and app performance monitoring, infrastructure, and configurationsExperience with using Agile processesExperience with using GitOps and concepts for code automation and infrastructure automation for gaining efficiencies, improving quality, and saving time and effortSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:Experience with fast fire coding and writing small pieces of code in various languages in virtual environmentsPossession of excellent oral and written communication skillsPossession of excellent collaboration skillsMaster’s degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
