Landscape Habitat Restoration Lead
with critical thinking skills and a strong work ethic to join our team in Riverside, California. This position provides direct support to the Restoration Supervisor. Our Construction Group division specializes in environmental construction and habitat restoration/maintenance throughout California.We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence. HELIX provides habitat restoration, biological consulting, landscape architecture, cultural resource management, regulatory permitting, environmental compliance monitoring, CEQA/NEPA acoustics and noise control, air quality and greenhouse gas, and GIS services to both the public and private sectors.Minimum Qualifications
2+ years in a lead positionAble to operate a smartphone and electronic devices (tablet, iPad, computer, etc.)Plan reading and take-off experienceGrading and planting experienceKnowledge of BMPsMechanical skillsMust be able to operate small equipmentMinor electrical experienceFence installation experienceMust have leadership and organizational skillsBe safety-mindedGood writing and communication skillsBe able to stand for extended periods of timeWork in a variety of outdoor weather conditionsBe able to lift up to 50 lbsWalk on a variety of uneven surfaces and slopesKnowledge of native plants and weed species is a plusMust possess a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record over the last three yearsThis job description is intended as a summary of the primary responsibilities and qualifications for this position.
