Medical Device Knowledge:
Deep knowledge of medical devices, including maintenance protocols, common challenges, and functions used for patient care.
Software and Server Management:
Experience managing sensitive hardware and software, ensuring high uptime and availability, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Strong Awareness of Hospital Processes:
Understanding of hospital operations, safety protocols, and appropriate behavior in clinical areas.
Drive for Results:
Ability to coordinate access to medical devices under complex situations and negotiate to achieve goals.
Demonstrated Specialization in Cybersecurity:
Passion for cybersecurity in medical devices with hands-on experience and ongoing learning in the field.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical activities for medical device cybersecurity programs, including data collection and implementation of controls.
Analyze emerging cybersecurity threats and advise on strategy improvements.
Provide technical support and oversee configurations and vulnerability remediation.
Support IT projects impacting medical devices on the network.
Lead investigations of alerts on medical devices and track vulnerability remediation activities.
Advise on hospital audits involving cybersecurity compliance.
Qualifications:
Basic Education Requirement:
Associate degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience:
3 years
