Bigdata / Hadoop ArchitectMandatory Technical / Functional Skills:8+ years of experience in Java and J2EE technologies5+ years of experience with Architecture, with a minimum of 2 years on Hadoop3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring teams at the Architect levelExtensive solutioning and implementation skills using CDH involving Impala, Spark, MapReduce, and HiveProcessing streaming inputs / importing data into HDFS from heterogeneous technologiesCapacity planning for Hadoop clustersProcessing unstructured data with structured data in a SLA driven environmentExpertise in Hadoop monitoring and performance tuning activitiesKnowledge of E2E CDH ecosystemHands-on experience in development and administrationKnowledge of Data Lakes, processing with Graph DBs and Scala is a plusKnowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum-based environment is a plusTechnical team management experience including offshore team membersExcellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skillsExperience in Machine Learning and Data AnalyticsRoles and Responsibilities:Responsible for overall Hadoop architecture, capacity planning, design, and standardsGuide onshore and offshore teams to ensure standards are metWork with the application development teams throughout the development life cycleStay current with emerging industry trendsAbility to take initiative and ownership of tasksCreate preliminary and detailed design documents based on business requirementsExplain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions with customersDesirable Technical / Functional Skills:Enabling automated code quality checking tools for Impala and SparkTotal experience in required skill (years):
