Senior Healthcare Data Analyst

Reviews, analyzes and evaluates data/systems business requirements for existing and new development.Documents technical and business specifications and functional needs and modifies existing requirements.Leads the data analysis and profile efforts for new client implementations and system enhancements.Facilitates technical meetings with IT and business project team.Provides data mappings, user interface specifications, processing logic as per business requirements to the Developer.Communicates with clients, developers and other team members.Tests development efforts and assists clients in user acceptance testing.Creates and maintains a project plan, documents meeting notes and distributes to team.Provides regular status reports to clients, developers, and management as needed.Provides mentorship and guidance to junior Analysts on the team as needed.What we're looking for
Strong SQL Knowledge:
Proficiency in SQL and experience with different database structures (transaction-based and data warehouses).Healthcare Domain Expertise:
At least 6 years in US Healthcare as a Business Analyst, with 4+ years in Medicaid and Medicare; experience with claims, member, and provider is essential.Database and Diagram Familiarity:
Ability to read ER diagrams and understand relational database and client-server concepts.Project Management Skills:
Experience managing project timelines to completion with cross-functional teams.Scrum/Methodology Knowledge:
Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is beneficial but not mandatory.What you should expect in this role
Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%).Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States.Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.The deadline to submit applications for this posting is 11/29/2024.The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
