We enable customers to securely manage identities, resources, and permissions at scale. As part of this mission, we use automated reasoning techniques to guide customers in setting and managing appropriate access controls across all their AWS environments.We are growing our team with individuals passionate about building products for all AWS customers that combine automated reasoning and machine learning. We are seeking a passionate senior software development engineer to build AWS solutions to help customers improve the security of their cloud assets by correctly setting permissions. You will provide technical leadership and work with a team to build solutions on a global scale, own systems end to end, and influence the direction of technology used by all AWS customers globally. You will define and implement systems with high standards for architecture, design, code quality, and operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to drive mission-critical projects and collaborate with senior leaders and partner teams to deliver impactful changes to AWS. 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
