Sr Quality Manager

at our Topsfield, MA location to direct quality assurance efforts and to ensure the products conform to quality standards.Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls.Coordinate receiving inspection, in-process, and final inspection.Work directly with Manufacturing to schedule and control inspection activities and to enforce requirements as specified by raw materials, ingredients, products and package specifications and regulatory agencies.Supervise and train all Inspection Personnel to Commercial and Military Specifications.Attend production meetings and assigns priorities to all levels of inspection review.Review and approves test data, repair evaluations, certificates of compliance, and other customer required documentation.Responsible for final disposition of discrepancy reports, material correction notices and source inspection reports.Review and approve work orders for completeness and accuracy.Responsible for MRB action. Coordinates between Engineering, Design and Drafting, Test, Manufacturing, and Purchasing.Ensures that all incoming material is properly accounted for and dispositioned.Make provisions for Government or customer source inspection when required.Coordinate Quality Control and training between Stellant PST and other facilities.Initiate the shipping process for final products. Review and approve shipping documentation.Maintain a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, customers and suppliers.Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent10 years experience in quality assurance and 5+ years supervisory/management experience.Certified IPC Specialist to J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.Excellent communications skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsCostpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiencyStellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
