Overview: Markley is New England's largest and longest operating multi-tenant, mission-critical telecommunication, and data center with facilities in Boston and Lowell Massachusetts and is looking to add a highly skilled Construction Laborer to the team. This position will work with direction from the Construction Superintendent primary based in the Lowell facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Construction laborer will work with the construction team and outside contractors in a wide range of building projects. Primary responsibilities include the cleaning of construction sites and assisting specialized contractors. Provide general assistance for both internal construction projects and large capital projects. Responsible for preparation and cleaning of construction sites. Load, unload, and deliver construction materials to project jobsite. Assist various skilled trades and other construction site workers as needed. Build and maintain custom temporary protection around construction projects including but not limited to plastic sheeting, rigid insulation, and plywood. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 3 years experience in construction industry. Prior involvement in mission critical or data center projects preferred. Thorough knowledge of the installation for structural steel, concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
