Job Description:
Our client, a leading consulting firm specializing in power infrastructure. (Utility and Clean Energy) is seeking a motivated Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will supporting electrical design projects and serving as in-house engineering for our electrical contracting operations.
Key Responsibilities:Perform electrical design work for a variety of projects, including utility, Clean Energy and Critical Power.Develop and analyze single-line diagrams, Arc-Flash Studies, Specifications, and coordinate technical procurement.Ensure designs comply with industry best practices, codes, and regulations.Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver subject matter expertise.Participate in occasional site visits and field inspections to ensure project specifications are met.Assist in the preparation of project proposals, estimates, and technical reports.Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into designs.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Must currently hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools.Previous experience in utility, clean energy, or federal designs.Knowledge of federal contracting requirements and procedures.Location
This position can be remote as long as the candidate is home based out of one the following locations:
Phoenix, ArizonaDenver, ColoradoTampa, FloridaDallas, TexasHouston, TexasAustin, TexasRaleigh, North Carolina
