PLANT MANAGER

to join our team in

Las Vegas, Nevada!The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a healthcare laundry facility. Like in a manufacturing environment, a Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all aspects of production while driving continuous improvement and optimization processes. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record running a plant, a good understanding of lean principles, and is fully committed to fostering a safe work environment.Responsibilities:Leadership:

Provide leadership and direction to a team of supervisors and maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, quality and continuous improvement.Operations Management:

Oversee daily operations of the plant, including production planning, labor forecasting, staffing, quality assurance, and maintenance.Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Implement and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.Process Improvement:

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.Budget and Cost Control:

Manage plant budgets and expenditures effectively. Control costs and look for opportunities to reduce expenses without sacrificing quality or safety.Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate supply of materials and manage inventory levels.Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on plant performance, including key metrics, production goals, and any issues or challenges.Employee Development:

Develop and mentor staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their skills and capabilities.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing,or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with proven success in plant managementStrong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teamsSolid understanding of safety, quality, and environmental regulationsExperience managing budgets and controlling costs effectivelyAbility to analyze complex problems and develop actionable solutionsUnderstanding of safety regulations and compliance requirementsPersonal Characteristics:Ethical Leadership:
