Design and implement electrical engineering solutions for power and industrial projects.
Support project scope definition, estimating, and budgeting.
Perform electrical system studies, including load flow, short circuit analysis, relay coordination, arc flash analysis, grounding, and lightning protection.
Prepare engineering reports, tender documents, and construction drawings.
Develop power distribution layouts, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
Create wiring, single-line, and three-line diagrams.
Specify and select electrical equipment.
Design high voltage substation physical and protection/control systems.
Assist in field construction, commissioning, and vendor factory acceptance tests.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure compliance with NEC, ANSI, and IEEE standards.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
10-20 years of experience for senior roles, 5-9 years for mid-level roles, and 2-5 years for junior roles.
Strong background in power, industrial, and high voltage substation design (AIS and GIS).
In-depth knowledge of NEC, ANSI, and IEEE standards.
Proven leadership skills in project management and team coordination.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Valid P.E. in the US or NCEES record.
Proficiency in power system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, CDEGS).
