JOB SCOPE
This position is responsible for leadership of a strategy and reporting function that provides complex insights, strategic recommendations, data, and reporting to assist various departments or lines of business in enhancing the customer experience. Oversees teams responsible for predictive modeling, proof of concept analyses and insights development. Responsible for developing overall data analytics strategies for forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc. This role requires thorough understanding of strategic priorities, providing strategic and actionable recommendations based on insights to support partner stakeholders. Understands and helps guide data analysis and methodology. Drives long-term data analytics and reporting strategy and ensures data-related policies, procedures and processes are in place to address complex business needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
Provide strategic leadership to an insights, strategy, and data analytics function. Deliver accurate reporting of monthly, quarterly and yearly results to drive the business forward and facilitate customer-focused outcomes. Advocate for the effective use of data and drive a culture of data-informed decision making across the company. Work closely with executives and senior business leaders to develop strategies for effective data analysis, data driven decision making, and reporting. Provide strategic consulting and recommendations to partner teams based on data driven insights, helping them make informed decisions to drive business success. Oversee and shape strategic partnerships with stakeholder teams on improving the customer experience, actively collaborating to identify and implement enhancements. Define metrics and relevant data sources. Oversee all analytics operations to identify data improvement needs, correct discrepancies and ensure quality. Select, configure and implement data analytics solutions. Proactively identify areas of opportunity and/or improvement based on trends in the data, and use these insights to inform new products and/or operational improvements. Direct high visibility projects to identify and resolve issues of strategic importance to the organization. Oversee complex data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions. Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements. Oversee data integration from multiple sources to produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc. Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities. Develop reports and deliverables for upper management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders. Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance and utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Responsible for overall accuracy of all data, results, and conclusions of the team; Monitor the team to achieve high data standards. Perform other duties as requested. BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience Minimum ten (10) years of Data Analysis and Reporting or related experience Minimum seven (7) years of Management experience. REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities at one time, while meeting deadlines Ability to analyze and interpret data and present data driven reports Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, straightforward and professional manner Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations Knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to supervise and motivate others Ability to make decisions and collaborate with others to solve problems while working under pressure Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs and expectations Expert business planning and forecasting skills Expert analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills Ability to focus on overall strategy of the region, organization or line of business Effective team and relationship building skills Proven leadership and mentoring skills Ability to document, prepare and present executive level presentations Complete knowledge of company products and services Ability to effectively manage large and complex projects PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree Expert level knowledge of SQL Expert level knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau Expert level knowledge of AWS Prior experience in the telecommunications industry
