Electronic Data Interchange and Integrations Specialist

JOB SCOPE:
The EDI and Integrations Specialist is a key position in the IT Department, focusing on skills analysis, project management, and support. This role involves adopting best practices in training and processes, supporting production EDI processes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The specialist will troubleshoot data issues, support Diamond's IFS system and EDI applications, analyze user needs, recommend solutions, and provide training. Additionally, the role includes developing and implementing interfaces, applications, and mappings based on additional requirements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is primarily performed remotely. Individuals may periodically travel to Diamond sites. If in a plant at any point, proper PPE must be worn.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support production EDI/integrations, observing data transactions and resolving errors. Analyze raw data sets and identify mapping issues or bad data. Document, track, monitor and escalate support, change order, and new business requests. Work with providers, vendors, and internal departments to provide support and to address technical and procedural issues related to EDI/integrations. Communicate effectively with internal staff, customers, and third-party vendors to oversee the integrations through analysis of system requirements, potential issues, and resolution development. Develop and modify data maps and documentation. Setup, testing, and support of EDI document types and system connections. 24/7 on-call support. Report all safety violations to the supervisor immediately and follow all safety protocols and procedures, as well as always wearing required PPE. Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the supervisor to be accepted with a positive and professional attitude. QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum two years of EDI workforce experience. Ability to think critically and solve complex problems. Experience in writing documentation, technical specs, and training guides. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills. Excellent planning skills and organization while simultaneously managing multiple tasks. Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as being a team member. Strong understanding and working knowledge of EDI transaction sets and communication methods. Exposure to ERP systems and supply chain (preferably IFS) - sales and distribution, order, inventory, logistics, and warehouse management. Experience with API, XML, and SQL preferred. Successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check).
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
