Electrical EngineerLocation: Fort Lauderdale, FLJob Overview:Join our innovative design and development team as an Electrical Engineer. Youll play a crucial role in crafting new products from the ground up, including schematic design, PCB layout, prototype development, and transitioning products to production. Our team specializes in creating sensors for cargo containers, trucks, and more, ensuring consistent data recording.Key Responsibilities:+ Design and analyze a variety of circuits, including analog, power, and digital, as well as sensors, electromechanical power switches, AC/DC, linear and switching power supplies, 12-24 bit ADCs, displays, programmable logic, and microcontrollers/microprocessors (8/16/32 bit).+ Develop comprehensive documentation, including technical requirements, functional specifications, manufacturing test specifications, qualification test plans, and product change notices.+ Collaborate with validation and manufacturing engineers/technicians to create tests and design fixtures.+ Support the manufacturing process for new product launches and maintain current production products by enhancing quality, reducing costs, addressing component obsolescence, and conducting failure analysis.+ Investigate product returns and failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.+ Design and develop PCB layouts for new products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.+ Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard design tools.+ Conduct design reviews and simulations to validate PCB designs and ensure compliance with specifications.+ Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate PCB designs into final products.+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCB design and manufacturing processes.Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering ( BSEE) with 0-3 years of experience+ Expertise in PCB design software.+ Hands-on experience with bench debugging and mixed signal circuit design.+ Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and simulation tools.+ Proficiency with Altium or similar PCB design software.+ NO C2C or Sponsorship availablePreferred Skills:+ Familiarity with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE, and other communication technologies.+ Experience with sensors.+ Knowledge of analog circuits, digital circuits, and power supplies.WHY ACTALENT?+ Work with a dedicated career partner specialized in your skill set+ We advocate on your behalf so you get what you want and need out of your job+ Get performance feedback, career advice, and access to ongoing professional development tools+ Build your career and learn new skills through projects as diverse as your curiosity+ You are eligible for benefits, paid time off, and competitive wages that are paid weeklyAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
