The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for creating and executing a targeted regional plan to deliver year over year installed base and core growth directed by annual performance objectives and quota. The Regional Sales Manager also coaches, leads and retains a results-driven sales team to performance and development objectives, creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
This position is part of the Blood Gas Sales Team located remotely in the North Central USA, managing a region covering Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Recruit, retain and develop a high performing sales team. Coach your sales team to increase market share and sales revenue through promotion of Radiometer portfolio products.
Develop and execute a business plan for your region, ensuring we win new customers, retain our base business, and expand our footprint in existing accounts to expand revenue growth.
Participate in Annual Business Reviews of top accounts and assist in managing escalated accounts in coordination with your regional support team.
Drive adherence and compliance to accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities and forecast in CRM for your region.
Negotiate regional system-wide contracts and financial agreements to meet customers’ needs while meeting company growth objectives and profitability requirements.
Provide leadership in measuring and improving results through a culture of continuous improvement and adoption of our Danaher Business System (DBS).
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree required, business, science or marketing major preferred.
5+ years sales experience in medical capital equipment preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coach a team to success.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Travel estimated at 60% with overnight travel required.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Exhibit strong sales acumen and relationship management, especially at higher levels in health systems.
Analytical skill set to analyze the current and competitive business to uncover new opportunities.
An understanding of business management systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and CRM.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for incentive pay.
