The Director of Tax will manage internal and external tax professionals, and as the internal expert, deal directly with internal customers and tax authorities on tax related matters.

Direct the income tax provision process, including coordination with third party service providers, in the preparation of the company's consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, US GAAP, and FIN 40. Responsible for documentation and maintenance of Uncertain Tax Positions in accordance with ASC 740-10.Act as a liaison between business, legal, finance and other departments to assist with identifying and resolving issues associated with transactions and projects.Promote tax department efficiencies by implementing process improvements and technology solutions to add value and reduce risk in the compliance, accounting, and forecasting area.Oversee income tax forecasting processes to support tax planning initiatives and tax accountingOversee income and indirect tax compliance processes, including coordination with third party service providers, to ensure timely and accurate tax filings globally.Develop and maintain tax processes ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance.Perform research on various tax issues including US federal, state and international tax.Assist in managing all tax related audits.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant area. Masters in Taxation or JD preferred.Minimum of 10 years' experience in public accounting and industry.Certified Public Accountant preferred.Extensive international tax experience, with focus on US inbounds and partnerships preferred.Detailed working knowledge of all material taxes a global entity will be exposed to, with a focus on income taxes.Significant experience operating and influencing at the highest levels of Corporations either as a consultant or functional head.Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills.Strong technology skills, including PC and Web-based applications and working knowledge/understanding of business finance system platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.).Demonstrate effective organization, communication and team building skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-growth business while demonstrating a high level of transparency, accountability and collaboration cross-functionally.Ability to work independently, under general direction, and create work plan and output requirements timely, going after the stretch target.Ability to manage work plan and output of direct reports.Ability to analyze processes/problems logically and comprehensively, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information.Strong desire for continuous growth/development.Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods requiredMust be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Purchase, NY officeApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. What We Offer:Competitive salary: expected base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000Bonus potentialComprehensive benefit plansGenerous time offLearning and developmentEmployee Resource Groups (ERGs)Hybrid working schedule of 3 days in the office (Monday - Wednesday)The expected base salary range for this role is referenced above. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
