Under the general direction of the Director of Sales, this role will manage projects and customer orders and will be based at our Paragould, AR location. We are looking for a disciplined, skilled, and effective Project Manager to guide our customers and internal team through the challenges of executing projects to exceed expectations. You will be part of the LA Darling Management Team where you execute and manage projects for Walmart. The ideal candidate for this position is self- driven, a relationship-builder, an influencer, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with change. We are looking for an experienced, effective Project Manager to join our team. This role would manage projects and customer orders.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

Acts as Project Manager (PM) for key customer accounts, and backup as needed for other large customer projects.Interface with Senior Leadership Team at LA Darling to update on key metrics of customer's projects and offer your input to budgets, forecasts, timelines, and decision making.As the focal point of external contact with Sales/Customer Service, models and builds a culture of customer service excellence.Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients, including proactive communication of potential roadblocks in meeting customer's forecasts and lead time expectations.Manage all assigned projects through completion, including resolution of supplier, customer, engineering, and manufacturing issues. Work closely with dedicated key account team and operations to ensure that finished product meets customer needs.Coordinate internal resources to ensure that all projects are delivered on time (including resource availability).Manage the technical and commercial project scope, resolve issues and scope change requests quickly, and keep the project on schedule.Through regular monitoring and reporting of project metrics, ensure project progress is on target and schedule and financial obligation of the projects are met or exceeded.Communicate and report project status regularly, proactively, and effectively.Adhere to established methodologies and processes for project management.Incorporate previous Lessons Learned and Project Closeout Meetings to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on findings. For larger projects, Monthly Business Reviews may be necessary.An active contributor to process improvement and change initiatives.Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, multi- task effectively and work well under pressure.Proficient in Microsoft Office range of products.Successful experience communicating and influencing effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of company employees and customers.Knowledge of project management tools and processes is essential.Positive record in developing and managing successful projects and project teams.Effective communication and interpersonal skills are critical to success.Financial acumen, technical understanding and credibility, organizational and administrative skills are all required for this position.Skilled and accountable leader with proven experience of customer facing success.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or 5 years' experience in related field.Minimum 3 Years of experience in Project Management.Experience in retail manufacturing industry ideal.Experience with Sage X3 ERP system preferred.
