By leveraging data analytics, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswear's supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers' ever-changing needs.The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for constructing workflows that articulate future system capabilities. The role leads data-mapping sessions and acts as a technical liaison between developers, engineers, product owners, and data analysts.HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCEDiscovers, documents, and provides technical feasibility assessments to stakeholders based on digital platforms and capabilities.Leads stakeholders and development teams to understand, document, and design complex, system-level work components that meet current and future project goals based upon defined requirements.Provides results from development team prototyping and proof-of-concept solutions to business product owners and data analysts for complex work.Collaborates with team members to establish, adapt, and execute project goals effectively and efficiently with business stakeholders.Researches third-party REST APIs and documents integration specifications accurately.Investigates, accurately diagnoses, and provides effective solutions for complex system errors through accurate use of monitoring tools.Performs other duties as assigned.YOU HAVEBachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.5+ years of software, business, or systems analyst experience.5+ years of experience writing technical documentation that includes UML, DFD and System Flow diagrams.5+ years of experience working in an agile development environment with scalable distributed cloud-based applications.Strong capabilities with Azure or other cloud platforms.YOU AREIndependent, proactive, and able to drive work forward efficiently.Highly attentive to detail and quality of deliverables.Experienced with documenting both server-side and client-side development requirements.Able to conduct and accurately communicate technical discussions directly with project management and project stakeholders.Excellent with verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized, analytical, and have strong planning skills.#LI-BC1#HybridThis job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities, but constitutes a general definition of the position's scope and function in the company.Columbia Sportswear is an equal opportunity employer.
