Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst with expertise in Biotech R&D data. The ideal candidate will turn complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making in research and development. This role involves close collaboration with R&D, IT, and business teams to ensure accurate data capture, analysis, and use, optimizing innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate data collection, storage, and integration across platforms.Analyze biotech R&D data, document requirements, and develop IT solutions.Create and maintain system integrations, dashboards, and reports.Support bioinformatics and R&D applications, including LIMS and ELN.Design and implement business intelligence solutions aligned with R&D goals.Conduct ad hoc analyses and automate KPI reports for biotech research.Serve as a liaison between R&D, IT, and business teams for data initiatives.Lead or support data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Biotechnology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.Experience:
10 years as a Data or Business Analyst, preferably in biotech or pharmaceuticals.Proven experience with biotech R&D data, including genomics and clinical trials.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., JMP, Power BI).Understanding of data management and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of biotech regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EMA) preferred.Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and data analytics.
