Job DescriptionOur team is looking for a talented, motivated, and self-directed BI Engineer to join our team.As a BI Engineer, you will lead our team's metrics reporting and dashboards and work closely with the product and engineering teams to generate insights that will guide product development and execution for our customers.We are looking for someone with a broad technical background in data analytics/SQL/building data dashboards, strong business acumen, who takes ownership of their work, and is focused on customer needs.The successful candidate will communicate crisply in non-technical terms to senior management.They will have an ability to make data-driven conclusions and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Key job responsibilities1. Develop and manage the business metrics reporting process and perform ad hoc reporting requests.2. Own key executive reports and metrics that are consumed by Relay leadership3. Generate actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards and deep dive analyses4. Analysis of data and metrics to identify trends and support decision making, including written and verbal presentation of results and recommendations.5. Engage directly with leadership to recommend business intelligence solutions.6. Model complex/abstract problems and discover insights using statistics, data mining, and visualization techniques.7. Automate processes by developing deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders.
