This individual's principal goals are to develop and manage application portfolios for each department and to attain all IT service level agreements for the user community within the organization. Will plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. The Director of IT will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.Qualifications:Education and Work ExperienceBachelors in Computer Science or related field required for all new hires starting 4/1/14.Masters Degree preferred3 or more years of supervisory experience required.Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations required.Experience in MEDITECH or other Health Information System preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills required.Proven ability to manage cross-organizational IT projects in a healthcare setting involving new systems selection, integration, interoperability and deployment required.#LI-CA1
