Actalent Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an engineering firm directly in Tysons, VA to design for large commercial buildings and data centers. This opportunity is a hybrid position with great continued growth potential and health and employee benefits, including stock in the company.Candidate will have the ability to work form home 1-2 days per week as the role is design-heavy but will require 10% travel around the US for site visits.Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare reportsCost EstimatingSpecification developmentPerform calculationsSelect equipment for specificationPrepare construction documents for biddingDesign in both AutoCAD and RevitPerform site visitsManage project deadlinesInteract with clients and architectsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.2-6+ years of electrical engineering design experience.Ability to create MEP Electrical designs for building projects (lighting, power, short circuits, generator, single-line design, NEC codes, etc.).Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.EIT Certification or PE License is preferred.About Actalent
