ALOHA Business Analyst in Honolulu, Hawaii. 6-month contract to hire FTE work employment. Full-Time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Fully Remote: MUST LIVE AND RESIDE ON OAHU or Outer Islands Job Description: This position will be crucial in analyzing data, developing insights, and supporting decision-making processes. Working with the outsourcing company to ensure they're producing quality work and to build a long lasting relationship. This position requires a blend of business and data analysis skills, focusing on healthcare and Medicare/Medicare claims. The ability to present information and findings to leadership members and facilitate vendor communication/meetings. Responsibilities: - Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and other data visualization tools. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. - Conduct data validation and ensure data integrity. - Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes and patient outcomes. - Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - Utilize SQL for data extraction and manipulation (nice to have). Qualifications: - Experience as a Business/Data Analyst in the healthcare industry. - Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables. - Experience in creating dashboards and data visualizations. - Familiarity with SQL for data analysis (preferred). - In-depth knowledge of Medicare claims processing (Medicaid nice to have). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Top Skills' Details: - 5 years of BA or Data Analyst experience - Strong Excel skills; SQL nice to have - Healthcare payer experience; knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicare claims - Requirements gathering, gap analysis, workflow management, process improvement, report analysis, stakeholder management Additional Skills & Qualifications: Ability to present info/findings to members of leadership and facilitate vendor communication/meetings are a plus.
